The footpaths that were closed but part of the app trail (from the Grameen to the station and the ramp from Clifton Terrace to King George V Walk) are now open - hurrah!
The Hayle Churks app wins Award at Open Culture 2014
This is what the Collections Trust said, 'Hayle Oral History Project won the Collections on a Budget Award and its £500 prize, for its Hayle Churks mobile phone app. The judges said it was “a really commendable project, and a very good example of what can be achieved with collections on a limited budget”. Oh no, the footpath leading from the bridge/ Grameen restaurant up to the station is closed again. Drat. You can listen to these stories via the Listen at Home button in the app while you sit and have a coffee, beer, ice cream - or just a look at the view.
